Please note:     for only $20 per week!!

The $80/month includes most supplies.  Saturdays are open to any student.... Come and work on projects w/o instruction; enjoy our relaxing studio!

Private Art Lessons    

Learn any medium with ease

 *    Experience hands-on guidance with demonstrations, all materials and tools needed to fully enjoy any medium(see list above). Create your own class with your ideas of what art is!

*     Sandra will offer a powerful 2 hour introduction in basic and advanced techniques for only $50/hour.  (scheduled during days, evenings or Saturdays).

*    Then you may choose to continue with private lessons ($50/hour) or join an adult class or teen class.

All supplies included. If you sign up for a month of art classes during the lesson, your first art class is free (including our Saturday morning "Open Studio")

This studio is all about free form expression and getting into the zone. Indepenent work-study with peer-to-peer guidance and demonstration from Sandra.

LAC Participates in the 

On My Own Time Program

Liverpool Art Center students may participate in the amateur art competition organized by the Cultural Resource Council and the Everson Museum.

Winners hang their artwork in the Everson during a fall exhibit and enjoy a beautiful reception with full color program catologing the winners.

Submissions accepted in early spring.

In house exhibit is held in May-June.

September Art Workshop  at Mirbeau

Enjoy the view of the Monet Bridge as we learn the brush strokes of a master painter. Our afternoon art experience includes a lunch on the Monet Deck at Mirbeau in Skaneateles, NY.

Sandra will be demonstrating during this 3 hour workshop as students create the scene in pastel or acrylic mediums. Use bold colors, simple layered brush strokes and easy to learn methods of achieving proportions.

Cost: $135 (includes lunch & instruction)

SUMMER COLLEGE PROGRAM

Wednesdays 3-6pm   $ 190/9 wks

For the home-bound college students looking for something to do; here's some studio time. Bring your art supplies and enjoy the relaxing gallery setting for a couple hours a week.  Enjoy a College Night Exhibihtion in August and show your work in our gallery exhibit. (included in cost/ supplies not included)

Enroll by May 15th

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE:

You file the paperwork with your school or business and you may experience the daily routine of managing an art center/gallery.

Submit resume, required school paperwork and schedule.

Interviews scheduled monthly

These are not paid internships; we barter for weekly class time and hands-on experience.

Watch how to roll a slab of clay and make a functional, inspirational, original design!

We create earthware creations with inspirational words or natural textures. This is relaxing and simple for adults. The items will be glazed by the instructor and fired on or about the end of each month. No promises for product delivery due to firing process. We focus on the fun in creating each piece.
